Our socials and ConnectHubs allow members to expand their networks and build community. There is something for everyone! Click here to view the calendar of programs and events.

Thought Leadership Events: Content-packed events which allow for great networking opportunities amongst colleagues with incredible content driven by panels, keynote speakers, and much more. Currently these events are virtual.

Leadership Forum: Our premier annual event that attracts an impressive and diverse group of senior leaders from across the region who gather to hear speakers that are highly acclaimed and nationally recognized thought-leaders and educators, as well as network with their HR & business colleagues.

Author Hour: Showcases our members who have published a book that is relevant to our membership’s interests. In this hour, the author will share one or more core concepts and/or a tool for application. The members attending will engage in a discussion among participants.

Partnership Events: Co-sponsored by local People & Strategy groups, these events are opportunities to increase your professional development through both content delivery and networking. Currently all partnership events are virtual.

SkunkWorks:  A small team of PSPS members who tackle an HR problem or opportunity in a six-week sprint and produce a whitepaper for the membership. The first SkunkWorks team worked on the question of "How to Engage and Retain Employees Now" and published a whitepaper available on the PSPS website (under Member Resources - sign in as a member, select the quick links drop-down, and choose member resources). The September 2022 SkunkWorks team will innovate on “Re-Imagining Career Pathing and Planning.”

Career-Transition Group: A forum for members in a career transition looking for support in best positioning themselves in the market. This informal “advisory board” provides collaborative support during the transition process along with regular lead sharing. Since meeting size is limited to 20, please register for a group session on the Events Calendar and click on Transition Group.

Role-based Roundtables: Provide members in similar roles an opportunity to meet periodically to discuss topics and challenges they are facing in a rapidly changing environment. Each roundtable will have approximately 6-12 members and meet five or more times per year. We have roundtable opportunities for Heads of HR, Executive Leadership Coaches, Talent Acquisition professionals, HR Business Partners, External Consultants, Business Owners, and Leadership Development professionals.

What are the benefits of joining a Role-Based Roundtable?

  • Create meaningful connection with a small group of PSPS members in the same discipline in a safe environment
  • Share current HR challenges in the workplace, receive insights, brainstorm solutions, and identify resources
  • Increase effectiveness in your role

Roundtable participants are asked to commit to attend all cohort sessions for the year. For more information about role-based roundtables, please click on the following link - Role-Based Roundtables.

Networking Socials: PSPS offers numerous networking opportunities to build relationships with colleagues including partnering with local People & Strategy groups, hosting social and business networking events, and attending local networking events.
