Learn about HR applications in AI. Wharton Professor Peter Cappelli will deliver a keynote speech about the promise of AI for HR, how work will evolve, the challenges of utilizing AI properly, and proposes practical responses to these challenges. Attendees will also get some hand-on time with some of the AI tools that are already in the market, as well as learn some of the practical considerations about implementing AI technologies in your HR practice from Emrana Sheikh, VP and Global Head of People Experience, Strategy and Innovation for Kenvue during a fireside chat between Dr. Cappelli and Ms. Sheikh. We will leave plenty of time for Q&A. With such a packed agenda, plan on spending your morning until 11am with us.

As we begin Q3, we're turning our sights to "Staying Human" in this age when we are alternatively told technology and AI are either coming for our jobs or coming to our jobs.

Our speaker, Ashley Goodall, author of the just published, The Problem with Change, draws on his two decades of HR leadership at Deloitte & Cisco to challenge the sacred dogma that disruption and change are essential drivers of business growth and success.

According to Goodall, whether it's a merger or re-org or a new office layout, change has become the ultimate easy button for leaders, who pursue it with abandon, unleashing a torrent of disruption on employees. The result is what he calls "life in the blender" - a perpetual cycle of upheaval, uncertainty, and unease.

The problem with change, Goodall argues, is that a culture where everything from people to processes to strategic priorities are constantly in flux exerts a psychological toll that undermines motivation, productivity, and quality. And yet so accustomed are we to constant churn that we have become numb to its very real consequences.

Join us on Thursday, June 27th, when we'll hear from Ashley and discuss how leaders at every level can create the stability that people need to thrive.
